Who We Are
We started our business in August 2019 with one goal in mind: providing an enjoyable dining experience to the Tredegar area and it's visitors. Providing dishes that are fresh, with locally-sourced hearty ingredients and simply unforgettable.
We want guests to enjoy our hospitality and explore the area; we're situated in the highest village in Wales, and on the border of the Brecon Beacons. With hiking and biking trails from our front door onto back road trails.
Tafarn Ty Uchaf or The Quarryman's Arms as it was known since 1850 was originally intended for the local Limestone Quarry employee's to frequent before walking home. The Quarry is still operational today.

8 ounces of Welsh Ribeye steak makes our signature burgers memorable inside a  Brioche bun, with house-made Onion Ring, salad and signature Top House sauce, served with fries and homemade coleslaw.

We source Welsh Beef from local providers who dry-age the meat on-site to provide it's remarkable quality, paired with Chef's skills, our reviews speak for themselves.
